If your horse has a bad attitude, ulcers could very well be to blame
About five years ago, trainer Kristin Pokluda, of Whitesboro, Texas took six horses to her veterinarian’s free ulcer screenings. All six had ulcers.
The next year she took five. Four had them. Each year since, she’s had fewer and fewer horses receive an ulcer diagnosis.
